Historic moments

This final match was truly a historic moment for Serbian girls. Their first finals in FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championship ever and first win! They bring down Italy to their knees with fantastic tactical decisions by national coach Zoran Terzic. With his experience and tactical knowledge, these girls won the hearts of Japan volleyball fans. And of course, they won the hearts of all people back in Serbia. Really, a magnificent achievement by winning this championship, which was hosted in Japan.

Excellent performances by Brankica Mihajlovic and Tijana Boskovic – who won the MVP player on the Championship – decided the winner. Of course, all of the girls were just fantastic, and we won’t forget their success. In addition to that, Serbian girls have created the historic moment in Serbian volleyball. Even if Serbian girls were two times with a set down, they’ve managed to get back in the match and win it. What passion and emotions these girls have is clearly visible by Stefana Nedeljkovic reaction.
